Our Athens Area SHRM Chapter will be meeting Tuesday, June 9 at the Georgia Center.  Networking will begin at 5:30pm followed by dinner and presentation.

Dr. Stephen A. Dawkins, Medical Director of Caduceus Occupational Medicine in Atlanta and Macon, Georgia will speak to the monthly meeting of the Athens area chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management Tuesday, August 11th.

Dr. Dawkins is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, a specialty deals with the treatment and prevention of injuries and illnesses
related to the workplace. Dr. Dawkins is experienced and knowledgeable in the care of injured workers and are very familiar with the Georgia workers' compensation system. He will discuss the elements of a successful return to work program, and the benefits companies realize in terms of cost savings, worker morale, and productivity when such programs are used effectively.
