The AASHRM is co-ordinating the first “Young Dawg Career Bound” ½ day workshop with a luncheon and guest speaker for July 16, 2009. 

The 75 invited students will have opportunity to learn more about diversity, peer pressure, customer service, communication, and KSAO (knowledge, skills, abilities, other attributes in the workplace) in break-out session where SHRM members have prepared and presenting relevant information used in the workplace. 

The workshop will conclude with State Commissioner of Labor Micheal Thurmond speaking about today’s workplace and preparation that is needed now so that high school students will be ready to work.
