Speaker: Lon Langston - Intrinsic Motivation

TOPIC: We each have a finite amount of time and energy. We’re each motivated to allocate that time and energy to doing what we believe we must do to get what we believe we need. What’s behind an employee’s motivation and passion?  There are ten core human needs. Each core need maps to an intrinsic motivator. Understanding these ten intrinsic motivators is key to understanding how to thrive and how to help team members in your organization thrive. From this session, listeners will learn what the core human needs are, according to behavioral science, and how these needs map to intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.  Understanding these factors are key to understanding what drives employee engagement, buy in and job satisfaction.
