Speaker: Shannon McCullough

Shannon McCullough has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Most recently, Shannon served as the Vice President of Human Resources & Workforce Development at The Classic Center in Athens, Georgia. Prior to that, Shannon held leadership roles within the organization, including Vice President of Convention Center & Education and Director of Education. Shannon also gained experience as an Account Executive, where they facilitated various corporate meetings, conferences, and special events. Before joining The Classic Center, Shannon worked as a Hospitality Consultant for the State of Georgia at the North East Georgia Regional Commission. Overall, Shannon's work experience showcases a strong background in event planning, operations management, education, and human resources.

Shannon McCullough attended The University of Georgia from 1992 to 1996, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

  • Bobby Snipes Water Resource Center: Located at 780 Barber St, Athens, GA 30601
  • Online (Teams) and in person meeting - you must select your attendance location when registering. Teams information will be provided to registrants on the Wednesday prior to the chapter meeting.  Please be encouraged to join us in person if possible.
  • Lunch on your own!

  • To promote adherence to the Chapter’s Code of Professional Responsibility among our members.

  • To provide a focus for legislative attention to state and national human resource management issues.

  • To support the purposes of SHRM, which are to promote the use of sound and ethical human resource management practices in the profession.
