Summary:  Join us for a lively discussion on the employee benefit trends and topics you need to know about in 2024.  The talk will equip you to address key issues such as cost containment, benefits compliance, and employee engagement.  

Chapter Meeting Location:

  • Bobby Snipes Water Resource Center: Located at 780 Barber St, Athens, GA 30601
  • Online (Teams) and in person meeting - you must select your attendance location when registering. Teams information will be provided to registrants on the Wednesday prior to the chapter meeting.  Please be encouraged to join us in person if possible.
  • Bring your own lunch!  You may order online directly with Em's Kitchen at:  Em's Kitchen Online Order.  Please plan to swing by Em's Kitchen on the way to Bobby Snipes and pick up your lunch.  Based on past ordering, Athens Area SHRM will not have lunches delivered to our chapter meeting.

    • Employee and Labor Relations

  • To promote adherence to the Chapter’s Code of Professional Responsibility among our members.

  • To provide a focus for legislative attention to state and national human resource management issues.

  • To support the purposes of SHRM, which are to promote the use of sound and ethical human resource management practices in the profession.
