Speaker: Lon Langston - Developing Professional Courage
The one thing that stops otherwise good leaders from being great is underdeveloped professional courage. Professional courage is the ability to communicate hard truth in a timely manner to the people who most need to hear it. It is bold but not brash. Professional courage also means delivering difficult messages with compassion, not contempt. From this talk, listeners will learn how to develop their own professional courage. It’s a skill not a personality trait.
