Our Athens Area SHRM Chapter will be meeting Tuesday, March 13 , 2012 at the Georgia Center.  Networking will begin at 5:30pm followed by dinner and presentation.

For our March 2012 meeting, Mr. David Mangan will present the chapter with information on the following topics. This information comes from 9 years of research condensed down to topics that have the greatest impact on the success of an organizations healthy sustainability. 

1.        A global view of the dynamics shaping and influencing organizations

2.        The three behaviors that fundamentally determine the extent of an organizations ability to be truly effective

3.        The two competencies required to support the three behaviors or without them will greatly impede an organizations effectiveness

4.        The one cultural belief system that will undermine every aspect of an organizations attempts to become more effectiveness

David Mangan has 30 years of human resource management experience with the last 10 years focused on assessing, designing and implementing organizational effectiveness and human resource strategic planning. Also David has 10 years of human resource administration technology solutions and business process improvements for mid to small businesses. Additionally, during the last 10 years he has managed human resource operations for payroll, benefits, staffing, compensation and IT support as a chief operations officer of a human resource outsourcing (HRO) company and professional employer organization (PEO).
