Defined Performance Solutions

Doug has been a human resources leader for over 25 years, both as a Naval Officer and in the hospital/healthcare industry. He specializes in employee and leadership training and organizational development - emphasizing work culture enhancement and training for high engagement by all. Doug started Defined Performance Solutions in 2009 while working full-time. He is now a full-time performance consultant.

In March of 2019 he became an Independent Business Affiliate of DecisionWise, a full-service consulting firm from Springville, Utah. DecisionWise's mission is simple: “To improve individuals and organizations by turning feedback into results.” Doug has a variety of services to increase the effectiveness of organizations through engagement surveys, consulting and leadership development. He facilitates their "ENGAGEMENT MAGIC® Training - a fun, engaging, and effective learning experience that provides practical tools for both employees and managers to boost their own engagement and create an engaged culture.

Doug is a graduate-level adjunct professor at Webster University with a BA in Theology from the University of San Francisco and an MBA from Tulane University in New Orleans. He has a lovely and supportive wife, three adult sons, (two still in college), four cats, and two beagles. They make their home in lovely Augusta, Georgia.
