Gary is the founder and owner of The Virtual HR Director, LLC.  The Virtual HR Director provides HR support and serves as the part-time HR Director for small businesses providing strategic and tactical HR solutions.

Gary is a 24-year veteran of United Parcel Service (UPS) where he held several assignments in Delivery Operations, Industrial Engineering and Human Resources (HR). 

He received a B.S in Human Resources and an MBA from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).  He also holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.  Gary has several HR certifications, including the SPHR and the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute and is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) through WorldatWork.     

Gary has served as a director on the Human Resource Certification Institute Board (HRCI), WorldatWork Compensation Advisory Board, President of SHRM-Atlanta, the SHRM-Atlanta Board, and the Atlanta Community Food Bank Board.
