Five Habits of Destructive Leaders

This workshop is designed to provide insights into the bad habits developed by destructive HR leaders and how to avoid developing these habits. Watch as Samantha the HR Generalist runs into five destructive HR leaders in her quest to improve employee recognition in her organization.  During this workshop, participants will learn how to identify the common traits and habits of destructive HR leaders, how to recognize these habits when confronted with them, and how to spot positive traits of effective HR leaders and teams. The goal for this workshop is to help you become a business leader capable of driving results through effective behaviors.

Speaker: Elana Roman 

Elena Roman is a senior human resource professional with over 18 years’ experience in all areas of HR specializing in people performance, organizational solutions, and finding positive solutions and outcomes during times of change.

Having worked mostly in the area of Life Science for small and large companies, fast-paced, highly technical, and regulated environments she is very familiar with executive coaching and advisement, change management and organizational design. She is particularly experienced in the areas of talent acquisition, HRIS and data analytics.

Elena earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. She is a Certified Executive Coach, is certified in Competency Training from Lominger Korn Ferry, Strategic HR: Delivering Business Results, and Human Capital Analytics: Using HR and Workforce Metrics to Drive Business Results from SHRM.

Elena lives in Bishop with her husband and their two children, dog and a turtle they saved after Hurricane Matthew. When Elena is not working, she likes to cook, read, and check out new restaurants. Elena can be reached at Ezayasr13@gmail.com.
