Catherine is a Training Manager with over twenty-five years of experience in Talent Development and performance improvement specializing in leadership, management and supervisory training and development. She is a co-inventor of GOV360, a management assessment tool. She has strong curriculum development and executive coaching skills using 360 multi-rater assessment instruments. She has expertise in the public sector, state and local government and publicly funded higher education, and has extensive experience in building the potential and knowledge of diverse work forces in order to inspire a more powerful public good.

Trust in government and trust in the Human Resources department relies on a solid foundation of ethics. Human Resource officers are often faced with difficult decisions where ethical considerations may play a role. This session, focused on SHRM’s Code of Professional Ethics, will feature a discussion of both common and uncommon ethical questions faced by Human Resource officers. Special focus will be on consistency, conflict of interest, and the role of politics.
