Topic:     Ethics

Trust in government and trust in the Human Resources department relies on a solid foundation of ethics. Human Resource officers are often faced with difficult decisions where ethical considerations may play a role. This session, focused on SHRM’s Code of Professional Ethics, will feature a discussion of both common and uncommon ethical questions faced by Human Resource officers. Special focus will be on consistency, conflict of interest, and the role of politics.
