Topic - Emergency Management &  HR's role

Human Resources will play a large role for organizations in the event of an emergency situation that disrupts operations. Areas of concern range from workforce management, employee relations, having appropriate policies in place for an emergency, technology to continue operations, effective evaluation of their emergency plans, to HR as a partner with operations side of business to ensure successful outcomes. This includes Continuity of Operations Planning within organizations, risk management, communication to employees in emergency situations, critical evaluation of plans and workplaces to withstand emergency conditions.
