Our Athens Area SHRM Chapter will be meeting Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Georgia Center.  Networking will begin at 5:30pm followed by dinner and presentation.

Judy Farmer will be speaking to our chapter on the topic of multiculturalism and diversity. Judy is the Vice President of Human Resources for Cobbs, Allen & Hall and has been with the firm since 2007.  Prior to her current position, Judy spent over 8 years with Regions Bank and Union Planters Bank in both Miami and Birmingham, progressing into more senior roles in both organizations.  In her last position with Regions, Judy was Vice President, Sr. Corporate HR Business Partner where she partnered with executive management in the corporate support areas to deliver HR expertise to their lines of business. 

Judy earned her BBA in Management from Florida International University and went on to complete a Human Resources Management Certification from Barry University in 2002 and earned her Senior Professional of Human Resources certification from HRCI in 2003.  In 2009 Judy was recognized as one of Birmingham’s Top HR Directors by the Birmingham Business Journal.

This program has been pre-approved for 2 hours of General Recertification Credit.
