JODY JENKINS CORRY is an attorney with the law firm of Fortson, Bentley and Griffin, P.A. in Athens, Georgia.  Ms. Corry specializes in health care law.  She represents health care clients regarding confidentiality, fraud and abuse, contract negotiations, medical staff issues, risk management, compliance, and various other health related matters.  She  received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and  Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Georgia and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in July, 1991 .  She is a member of the Western Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the Georgia Academy of Hospital Attorneys.   She has served as President of the Junior League of Athens,  Special Gifts Committee for Athens Regional Foundation, Community Connection Board of Directors, and 1997 participant in Leadership Georgia.   Her honors include UGA’s Outstanding Young Alumnus, Rotary’s Jean Harris Award for Community Service, and the Junior League’s Angel Award.
